When was the track built?
Ground broke in 2013 and the venue opened in 2023, conceived as a modern motorsport and business hub. The layout blends fast sweeps with strong braking points and generous run-offs for GT and top-level bike racing.
When was its first race?
Balaton Park’s first race season launched in 2023 with opening events, followed by its first international championship rounds in 2024. By 2025 it hosted MotoGP and WorldSBK on a dedicated 4.075 km motorcycle variant.
