When was the track built?
WhiteRiver Park first opened in 2010 as a purpose-built outdoor karting facility in the countryside near Collon, County Louth. The main International Circuit was constructed to modern kart-racing standards rather than being adapted from an existing car park or leisure site.
The venue contains two layouts. The full International Circuit measures 1.2 km, while a shorter 900-metre Club Circuit can also be used.
When was its first race?
An exact date for the circuit's first competitive race is not widely published, but organised karting followed soon after the venue opened. Tullyallen Karting Club was formed in late 2010 and held a major event at WhiteRiver Park in the spring of 2011.
WhiteRiver has since become an established Irish competition venue, hosting club racing, Motorsport Ireland championships and national IAME events.

Plan your trip: driving or taking a taxi is the easiest way to reach WhiteRiver Park. The circuit is just outside Collon and close to the M1, with free parking on site. Buses can get you to Collon or Dunleer, but not directly to the track.
Getting there by car
- Navigation: enter WhiteRiver Park, A92 FW29 into your sat-nav or mapping app.
- From Dublin: travel north on the M1 and leave at Exit 12, then follow local directions towards Collon and the R169.
- From Belfast or Dundalk: travel south on the M1 towards Dunleer and use Exit 12 for the final journey.
- From Collon: the circuit is only a short drive outside the village on the R169.

- Collon: the most useful stop if you are approaching the circuit from the N2 side.
- From Dublin: Collins Coaches Route 980 serves Collon on its Dublin–Slane–Collon–Ardee route.
